I also made props while I was out there, I created these crowns designed by Anna Finch. One of the references was a Vivienne Westwood catwalk where they all wore oversized crowns like Max in Where the Wild Things Are.
I also made this Dragon cloak, for which Anna Michaels made the head. He's called Egor.

Theatre Work

I ve been to Germany recently where I ve been making backdrops and sets for a theatre company Whitehorse, I sewed a huge quilt for a fairytale! Listening to Philip Reeve's dark stories and working in a room resembling a concrete cave. It was great fun and really atmospheric.

I drew this as a tattoo design but its good practice as I m working on book illustrations of black dogs for a spooky kids book. Hoooowl! 

And this is going to be in the same show, based on the same thoughts all about chairs. 

This is a sculpture that is going to be in an exhibition called 'Exquisite Trove' in Penzance as part of the House of Fairytales exhibition.
